Portions of the VHS version of Pokemon: The Movie 3 released by 4Kids Entertainment also appeared on screen, including the short Pikachu: The Movie 2001: Pikachu and Pichu (mostly on fast-forward) and less than ten minutes of the Pokemon feature itself.
The "Mystic Knights" experiment appears to be the 85 minute movie based on the television series. While only a portion (about 20 minutes) of it is shown, it is still being listed as this episode's experiment; not as a footnote.
Contrary to claims in the opening segment, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was not actually an experiment in this episode.
Starmaker is the instructional video tape that comes with the soccer training apparatus known as the "Soccer Pal".
This is the first episode where the character "Gus" has a last name.
The character name "Dr. Scott Frostbender" makes it's debut in this episode.
